W. Mark Suttle, DDS, MS, PA
Meet Dr. Suttle
Dr. Suttle is a native of Greensboro, and received his undergraduate degree in history from UNC-Chapel Hill. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery with Honors from the UNC School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Suttle completed specialty residency training in Periodontics at UNC. During his residency, he received extensive training in all treatment aspects of periodontal disease, dental implants, and conscious sedation. During his residency, Dr. Suttle also practiced general dentistry on a part-time basis. Following completion of his residency, Dr. Suttle practiced on the North Carolina coast for three years prior to joining Forsyth Periodontal Associates in 2004. In 2003 Dr. Suttle became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which represents an additional level of certification beyond regular training. He is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Periodontology at the UNC School of Dentistry, where he spends several days each year teaching in the Graduate Periodontics clinic. Dr. Suttle places a high value on continuing education to advance his knowledge, and attends a significant number of continuing education courses each year.
Dr. Suttle is married and has eight-year-old girl/boy twins, a five-year-old son, and a two-year-old son. In his free time, Dr. Suttle enjoys family, watching sports, and sea kayaking.
